You can choose your coach based on their bios and interests, based on prior connections you have had in the community or based on their availability. I will be monitoring bookings to make sure no one is overloaded.

Matty Al-irimi
I completed a BSc in applied animal behavioural science in 2019. Since then I have been running a small dog walking and pet sitting business in inner South London.
I specialise in walking reactive dogs, so have lots of practical experience in working with reactive dogs out on walks in a way that keeps them calm and engaged, and ensures both them and myself have an enjoyable and least eventful walk possible as well as well as having a thorough understanding of learning theory and animal behaviour that underpins my work in practice.
I am also the guardian of Romanian rescue dog, who is herself (amongst many wonderful things) a reactive dog learning to feel safe in our world.

Sonia Catherall
My name is Sonia, I live with my family on the Yorkshire Coast sharing our lives with our gorgeous cockapoo Harry.
Harry is a whirlwind of fun and loves to play on the beach, swim and spend time in the woods. He is my inspiration for getting more involved with dog training, which had lead me on an amazing journey, one in which I am incredibly passionate about. Harry loves to train and is always up for a challenge. We love to do scentwork, clicker training, trick training and parkour.
I was lucky to be able to learn from Angela White at IABTC, where I successfully became a pet dog instructor, canine behavioural instructor and clicker trainer instructor. I am also a Dog A.I.D trainer (Assistance in disability).
Following our passion for scentwork I am a Scentwork Uk Instructor and World Scent Dog Association Instructor. I am continuously learning, participating in various courses, seminars and webinars. I only use kind, ethical, force-free and reward-based training methods.
UK clients only.

Penny Leedal
I have two dogs, an 11 year old bit of everything, Bertie and a 2 year old standard poodle, Mia. Bertie was a rescue and when he came to live with me he was a 5 month old hyperactive tornado who barked – a lot. He was that dog who barked all the way through training classes, in the car and at home which was quite a shock for me as I’d only had ‘perfect puppies’ before! I took him to training classes and attended one of Janet’s TTouch workshops which helped Bertie and me a great deal and also made me hungry for more knowledge.
I am now a Tellington TTouch Practitioner P1 and also a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (01274) and a Real Dog Yoga instructor. I was delighted to become an ACE Associate Tutor last year as Free Work is amazing and has changed the life of so many dogs. I am learning more all the time and currently finding Janet’s Your End of the Lead course and Pro group invaluable.
I run pet dog training classes, workshops and one to one consultations and incorporate free work and TTouch techniques alongside kind, reward based training to give dogs a safe and rewarding platform on which to learn.
UK clients only.

Samantha Paxton
Samantha has had a love for dogs and dog training for as long as she can remember. This was taken to a new level when Matty came into her life seven years ago. From an early age he was extremely reactive to a lot of different things, he would go to class and be the perfect student but living with him in the real world was becoming a nightmare.
This led to them attending a four day workshop where so many lightbulbs were lit about his behaviour and the underlying causes of it. This ignited the passion to not only learn as much as possible to help Matty but also so she could help others in the same situation.
Samantha is a certified dog trainer and continues to keep her learning current and up to date through attending various seminars and workshops. She joined Janet’s Canine Confidence Academy in 2016.
She currently shares her life with three dogs, Matty, Shelby and Lexi, Rosie the cat and Seekie her horse and her hobbies include training her dogs in Agility and scentwork.
